I used to do my best work sitting in class in high school and college, when I should have been listening to the lecture. I think that's why I stopped drawing - I don't go to school any more... :D
My real job as a computer tech doesn't allow for that sort of goofing off (other sorts, but not that one.)
I've been fiddling with pixel cars the last week or so just for the heck of it. It's surprisingly complex "small art."

Good stuff, zee, even if it is just a Nova (I kid, there's a reason the Nova and Camaro are ubiquitous, I suppose, but just think how neat it would be if it were, say, a Pontiac Ventura or an Olds Omega? Yeah, I know it's a client job...). Do you illustrate over a picture of the actual car? I just noticed that the mirrors and the rear bumper (in the rear view illo, of course) look a bit more "real" than the rest of the car. I'm just curious about your process - the results definitely speak for themselves.
Maybe one of these days I'll sit down and force myself to start drawing again, particularly on the computer - I've got no excuse other than time. I have the Mac, Adobe CS2 Standard, and a small tablet is under $100.

Thanks Kevin,

Yeah I have been thinking about doing a ventura or omega kinda similar to kris hortons.just cant find the time to get in there and do a rendering for myself.

I mix both wacom drawing and copy paste with some brushing over that.It makes the job easier and quicker. As you know chrome is the biggest pain the butt.Belive me I know where you're coming from my main business is not even drawing/rendering I ahve a party rental bus that keep sme working 7 days a week. The only time I find to actually do a rendering is at like 3am.LOL
